Twitter Philosopher goes on a Hiatus

tim1903 a.k.a Hudson Timothy is on a year-long break from Twitter. Famous for observations on the ironies of life, and his straight-faced, matter-of-fact delivery, tim1903 was entertaining crowds across the globe by spewing his adages all over Twitter up until a year ago.

“His words are crisp and mundane – even seemingly commonplace – but if you understand his message it is as stinging as it is true”, one of his batch mates mentioned.

Tim1903’s words – like the man himself – lack all pretensions and are marked by the absence of a façade of nicety veiling the truth he feels. They are entirely devoid of poetry and rhythm. However, there is no subject they haven’t spanned.

Here are a few samples (some of our favorites!)

On wisdom- asking God for wisdom is asking God for horrible experiences (5th April 2016)

On Technology and Life- If photoshop education was made mandatory….cosmetics wont sell…(27th  July 2012)

On similar meaning words and the difference in their meanings –

life goal: differentiate modernization from westernization. (5th Feb 2015)

is thr any language where a sentence has only one possible meaning…. (6th Mar 2014)

Some of his fans believe that he came up with “the stringing technique” in writing.

“What’s the stringing technique?”

“It is an original writing style, a mild chaotic rebellion against the known rules of grammar”, one fan explained. “Basically it involves concatenating several words with no spaces between them”.

Some tweets that follow the stringing technique are shown below:

On what the fortunate never realize: u r not lucky enough tobe unlucky….(7th Jan 2013)

On life: in search ofa better lifeat de costof life (8th Jan 2013)

With ease the words they flow, touching topics, raising eyebrows, mocking technology and pealing layers off the puzzling onion called life – all the while using the blunt scrutiny of a dull kitchen knife.

When we mentioned to him about this article we were doing on his hiatus, the popular tweeter refused to make a comment on it. “I haven’t tweeted in several months, it’s not worth writing about”, he said.
