Over the years, the Santhosha Vidyalaya Alumni Association (SVAA) has stood alongside the school, giving, guiding, and growing with it. From sponsoring children in need to supporting teachers and strengthening programs, our alumni have made a lasting difference in every corner of campus life.
Inspiring Students
Our alumni regularly engage with students through talks, workshops, and mentorship sessions that motivate and guide.
- Spiritual & Personal Growth: Miss Hema (2000 batch) encouraged girls during chapel prayers, and Miss Jerusha led heart-to-heart talks with students.
- Skill & Career Guidance: Mr. Peter Christopher (1998 batch) conducted a media workshop, while Dr. Daniel shared insights on personality development and careers.
- Creative Learning: Mr. Jason from Naradu Expeditions promoted outdoor education; Mr. Binny inspired students through filmmaking; and Miss Blessi Shankar led dorm talks and assemblies.
- Health & Wellness: Dr. Albert Rajkumar and Dr. Isaac Money conducted medical checkups for students.

SV alumni have also supported staff development by sharing knowledge and building skills.
- Teacher Training: Miss Lydia Kirupa and Miss Alis Lily led motivational sessions.
- Language Development: Mr. Colin Tilsley, Mr. George Ebenezer, and Mr. Abraham Sudaran from Lily of the Valley Skill Development Center, Chennai, enhanced teachers’ English proficiency.
- Practical Development: Mr. Paul Raja from the Goodness Foundation guided teachers through practical, hands-on workshops.
Supporting School Growth
Alumni involvement goes far beyond interaction—it transforms infrastructure and opportunities.
- Student Sponsorship & Initiatives: Programs like the Child Development Project by Mr. Colin and Miss Emma, Christmas gifts, and sponsorships continue to uplift students.
- Campus Upgrades: Mr. Ganesh sponsored air conditioning for the computer lab and renovated the boys’ toilet. Miss Jenny led the washing machine project through alumni fundraising.
- Creative Tools & Learning: Mrs. Idolene Prince conducted a Canva workshop, while the Khan Academy initiative encouraged academic excellence.
Leadership & New Initiatives
The recent years have seen alumni take on leadership roles and start meaningful initiatives.
- Board & Scholarships: Dr. Anand and Mr. Daniel Dadas joined the SV board, strengthening leadership. Mr. Shim Matthew launched the Evangelist Matthew Abraham Scholarship for deserving students.
- Innovative Learning: Mr. Stephen Joithraj introduced mind maps connecting science and real-world learning.
- Infrastructure & Student Support: Dr. Anand led the renovation of primary classrooms and the creation of a recreation center.
- Student Development: Mr. Jen launched the Abeck Radathon program to inspire reading and growth.
